Henderson & Harrison Ltd was founded in the late 1980's serving the Tyne Valley and beyond for all aspects of domestic and commercial plumbing and heating. We have grown into a substantial business over the years and now occupy premises in Haugh Lane Industrial Estate Hexham.
We carry out all sizes of work from full installations, servicing and repairs, to maintenance work and inspections for housing associations, estates and agents. Each of our engineers has their own speciality, from a team of bathroom fitters with a keen eye to detail, solid fuel installers who will open out that fireplace, and boiler engineers that have overcome almost every breakdown possible. We employ a small works division who go from job to job repairing those slight weeps, nailed pipes, fused lights and tap washers that some engineers leave behind.
It is important that engineers are competent and trained at what they do, and that is why our industry has national standards to meet. We regularly attend professional development courses and are inspected by industry regulators to ensure we are fully compliant with the latest standards and that our engineers are doing the job right.

Henderson & Harrison Ltd takes gas safety seriously. All of our engineers are on the Gas Safe Register and will have their official identity card when you ask to see it.
Gas Safe Register is the official gas safety organisation in Great Britain.
It replaced CORGI on 1st April 2009. Gas Safe Register is responsible for the registration and regulation of gas engineers. Membership is mandatory for any company or engineer working with gas appliances. This covers domestic, commericial and LPG services.

OFTEC is the Oil Fired Technical Association. They are recognised by the Government, oil companies, heating appliance and tank manufacturers as being the acceptable trade body in technician training and assessment for the domestic heating, oil distribution and commercial oil firing industry.
For the oil industry in England and Wales, OFTEC registered technicians are the only people defined as competent and able to self-certify their work without the need for informing the local building control department.
